MISERABLE CHRISTMAS

Not much news this month – we’re just heavily writing for the EP recording next month. Marko’s off on holiday at the end of the month and returning just in time for recording. The kid likes to cut it close.

MISERY ADDICT

Last month the giant gaping hole in our hearts that was the blank position of the bassist was filled by Marko (formerly of Kiwi). We have all welcomed Marko with open arms (but from a non-gay distance) and hope he can bring some proper class bass to our chunes, yo.

After a brief argument, we also decided collectively on a name. We’re now called Misery Addict. It doesn’t have any super deep meaning and I just thought it up when listening to Pantera’s Suicide Note Pt II one day.

We’ve got a bunch of amazing songs written. We’re gonna write some more amazing songs then shove them on a CD. Just you wait. It’ll be amazing.

MY BAND IS BETTER THAN YOUR BAND

This month I formed a band.

Right now it consists of vocals from Bish (formerly of Annihilist), guitars from Adam (of A Call To Arms) and drums provided by Bud (formerly of Collapse the Control).

We’re still looking for a bassist, so if you could keep your eye out for one that’d be grand. I’m sure there might be a few on the streets playing some Oasis that might be interested or something.

We’re up in arms about style, although we’ve been covering a few tunes by the Misfits, Black Flag and Billy Idol, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up sounding like that. We started writing this month, so we’ll wait and see.

We also don’t have a name.We’re currently codenamed Hard as Nails, but that just makes me think of Jeremy Beadle. We’ll think of something better.
